64-Year Old’s Knee Improves 90% From Stem Cell Therapy“I am a female and 64 years old, retired from law enforcement, have horses and bike ride.  I have always been active. My left knee  started swelling in December 2016 for an unknown reason, in a couple weeks I had a lot of pain and could hardly walk. I saw a surgeon and he suggested a meniscus repair. Surgery was done. My knee after surgery was in a bent position and I was unable to straighten the knee, and I could not walk without pain.  Now my condition was worse than when I first saw the surgeon. I tried physical therapy, chiropractic therapy and cortisone shots.  Next steps suggested included gel injections or knee replacement surgery.  I felt I was too young for the surgery and heard that knee replacement surgery only lasts 10 to 15 years.I did research and found stem cell therapy.  Although not covered by my insurance I made an appointment with Dr Tait. He and the staff were great, and all of my questions were answered.  I had the procedure done in August.  I cleaned up my diet, took the recommended supplements, did physical therapy and now in October 2017 I feel I am 90% better than when I came in.  I highly recommend this procedure with Dr. Tait’s team. I am now exercising in a pool to build my muscles around the knees and doing one on one physical therapy once a month. I plan to start start walking 2 Miles three days per week and get back on my horse and bicycle within the month!”

55-Year Old Overcomes Several Chronic Health Issues with Stem Cell Therapy (Spine, Knee, Ankle & Thumb Deterioration)“I am a 55 year old male with several chronic health issues – spine, knee, ankle, and thumb deterioration. I have been treated by several doctors and surgeons locally and nationwide. Dr. Tait is #1 on my list. He truly cares! Dr. Tait is very bright and “state of the art” in what is going on in the ever changing field of new medical treatments and information. It is without hesitation that I recommend Dr Tait.”

Osteoarthritic Patient Starts Training For El Tour de Tucson Shortly After Stem Cell Treatment“Before I was seen by Dr. Tait, I had horrible knee pain due to osteoarthritis which kept me from doing basic things that I wanted to do. My knee would ache and swell at the end of the work day. I was unable to ride my bike. It got to a point where I couldn’t do my nightly walk which, as an active person, was devastating. I was taking anti-inflammatories around the clock and was worried about my kidneys. Dr. Tait recommended hyaluronic acid injections and they have made a world of difference. I am walking without difficulty and riding my bike as much as I like. I rarely take anti-inflammatories. I am even training to ride El Tour de Tucson! Thank you Dr. Tait!”

63-Year Old Patient Avoids Knee Surgery in Both Knees After Seeing Dr. Tait For Stem Cell Therapy“After an internet search to find someone in Tucson who worked with Stem cell replacement therapies, I found Dr. Jonathan Tait. I made an appointment with him in January 2016 and we decided to try the PRP (plasma rich platelet) injection therapy on my left knee. I have osteoarthritis in both knees but my left was the worse one due to meniscus surgery back in the 70’s. My goal is to continue to play competitive badminton through my Century mark. (I am now 63)I had two series of injections paired with Dr. Tait’s very well researched supplements and physical therapy (Agility PT/Tiffany Hodges – highly recommended!!)Bottom line – it all worked! And by the way, my osteo surgeon had said I was headed for knee replacement surgery in the future. I had resolved I was not going to do that, ever!I am back on the courts, rebuilding my stamina. I do not have the pain I did last winter. Sure, there is some – but it is equal in both knees and due to the strain I put on my legs by playing. I know I need to keep up with my exercises, supplements and take a little more weight off.If I need to have another round of injections or if ANYTHING else is going on in my body, I will definitely reach out to Dr. Tait. And one other thing that sets him apart from any other medical practitioner I have dealt with – he answers you directly through email! His goal is to help you be healthy and happy no matter your age and not have your body hold you back.If you want to follow my journey, send me a message via Facebook and I will add you to my private group – Path to Knee Health. And if you have a problem with a joint or your back or a sports injury – talk to Dr. Tait and see what he might be able to do for you. It is truly a beneficial alternative treatment plan.”

WHAT OUR PATIENT’S ARE SAYING ON GOOGLE REVIEWS

  • review rating 5  After an MRI showed that I had torn tendons in my hip, the physician I was working with referred me to Dr. Jonathan Tait. This was after a year and a half of no resolution after seeing various doctors, as well as trying physical therapy, and other therapies to resolve the pain. Once the MRI was done there were basically two options: Go the surgery route with a lengthy recovery time, or try Platelet Rich Plasma injections to heal the tear. I chose Dr. Tait and Rejuv Medical SW for the PRP injections. After two PRP procedures my hip is healing and the pain has lessened tremendously. I also had nutritional testing done that revealed some deficiencies that definitely were not on the radar from normal blood tests ordered from any routine physical. After 6 months working with Dr Tait I feel tremendous progress has been made with the hip and overall general health and well being. If you want to get to the root of a health challenge, rather than simply mask symptoms, then functional medicine is a path to consider. It is an investment in your health and I recommend Dr Tait as a partner in achieving positive results.

review rating 5  Pain, chronic or acute, can be overwhelmingly debilitating and the road to recovery is not easy. As a member of a surgical team, I am blessed to have a medical background, but also little time to devote to rehabilitating an injury as it rightfully should be done. I was fortunate to have found Dr. Tait many years ago and continue to rely on his experience, knowledge, and willingness to work with me on understanding my condition and how best to approach it for realistic results. After five months of PT/Dry Needling/Massage and two rounds of PRP, I am able to competently perform my job without the distraction of pain and have gone back to a few of my favorite activities. In addition, I have begun to see a new PT, whom Dr. Tait reached out to on my behalf (albeit many states away). There are no better words that can be said, with the exception of thank you, for the effort and care Dr. Tait and his team show each individual on their path to recovery. You are much appreciated!

  • review rating 5  My daughter is an avid softball player and a severe tear in her hip flexor kept her off the field for 6 months. We saw two other doctors, had xrays, MRIs, tried anti-inflammatory and a host of other methods before we finally found Dr. Tait. Dr. Tait and his staff were so caring and took plenty of time to explain our options before we decided on PRP therapy. The PRP therapy along with Physical Therapy finally did the trick and she is back on the field! She is strong, running painfree and just hit her first out of the park homerun! Everyone at Rejuv Medical Southwest has been so helpful, caring and patient as we navigated this long and frustrating injury. Thank you Rejuv! We couldn't have done it without you!

review rating 5  I torn my miniscus and MCL. The surgical options were not ideal so I sceptically gave Dr. Tait and his team a shot at PNP. The results were amazing. I now run and jump and do almost everything I used to do before my tear. The team itself is truly caring and professional. It was a pleasure being at the office. Dr Tait was extremely intelligent and wise in his approach to my issues. It was not a money driven approach. He used improved known methods of non-surgical care to heal my knee. To me it seemed like magic. I feel very lucky to have explored and found this option in care. A big thanks to Dr Tait and his team.

  • review rating 5  Here I am, several years later, and I am still doing great! Dr. Tait also helped my husband who was having severe hip pain. We feel so fortunate to be patients of Dr. Tait. He and his staff are accessible, caring and efficient. We love that he stays on the cutting edge of medicine and eagerly shares what he learns with all of us. We highly recommend him and his staff and appreciate what they have done for us. My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Tait because I was experiencing sciatica. He thoroughly assessed my problem and prioritized my needs. First....get rid of the pain via an epidural (which I was hesitant about) and then physical therapy and exercise to gain strength. That was over six months ago. I got immediate relief and still feel great even after golfing day in and day out. I realize that I may have to get another injection some day, but I would do it all again at the drop of a hat. Dr. Tait takes a personal interest in his patients, explains things thoroughly and I don't think you can find a finer doctor. I highly recommend him.

review rating 5  Dr. Tait actually reads your "chart" before your appointment instead of walking into the exam room cold. Believe me, this isn't common. He listens; he explains; he doesn't get offended by questions, and he's thorough. I'm was very pleased as was my husband who went with me to my initial appointment. I plan to try an alternative treatment plan that Dr. Tait suggested for my tendinosis, which isn't available through the other orthopedic channels.
